Evocative Images

Hello and welcome to the home page of evocative images. My name is Glenn and I would like to offer an insight into my work and my passion for photography. From a very young age I have been drawn to, and inspired by cinematic and journalistic imagery. TIME and Life magazine images as well as movie stills have always captured my imagination. Time and Life magazines collectively have captured the best and worst of humanity since the latter part of the nineteenth century creating a pictorial historical narrative which impacts human consciousness which in turn arouses emotion. Photography is an art which requires spontaneity as well as creativity, and of course ‘being in the right place at the right time’.
